The Church’s Sabbath or rest, on the other hand is Christ Jesus Himself. Mark 2:27, 28 says that the Sabbath was created getting man, maybe not guy on the Sabbath. “Therefore, the Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath.” All the “legalism” that surrounds the idea of the observance of the Sabbath day was even broken by the Jews themselves as Jesus points out in John 7:22, 23.
